Follow the specific procedure of opening the laptop according to its specific manual. Then make sure to detach the battery cable from the motherboard before removing the installed hard drive. Locate the existing hard drive, then unscrew and slowly take it off from the slot. Now, replace the new SSD (Samsung V-NAND SSD 860 EVO SATA M.2 1TB) with the slot and screw it. Put back the battery cable to the battery connector and close the laptop by following again the laptop's manual guide of closing/opening. Then, reboot your laptop and make sure to enter the BIOS setup to check whether the new hardware is detected or not.
